A 23-year-old man was shot while riding a motorcycle near the Alice Griffith public housing complex in San Francisco’s Bayview District on Saturday, police said today.
At about 12:45 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to a report of a shooting near the intersection of Fitzgerald Avenue and Hawes Street.
According to the police investigation, the victim was riding his motorcycle when an unidentified suspect with a handgun shot him in the upper body.
The suspect fled in an unknown direction and has not yet been arrested, police said.
Officers said the motorcyclist suffered injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
