SFPD Investigating Bayview Shooting

Police are investigating a report of gunshots fired in San Francisco’s Bayview District early Friday morning.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired at the intersection of Ingalls Street and Armstrong Avenue at about 12:10 a.m. on Friday.

Three witnesses told police they were standing in the 2500 block of Jennings Street when they saw a silver coupe driving up Armstrong Avenue.

The witnesses said an occupant of the vehicle fired several shots out the window before the vehicle sped away from the area, police said.

Officers searched the area, but didn’t find any victims or damages. Police did not locate any suspects or the suspect vehicle, police said.

The shooting remains under investigation.
