Victim Identified in Fatal Chinatown Collision

A woman fatally struck by a vehicle near San Francisco’s Stockton Tunnel on Saturday morning has been identified by the medical examiner’s office as 78-year-old Pui Fong Yim Lee.

The victim, a San Francisco resident, was struck around 10 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Stockton and Sacramento streets in the city’s Chinatown neighborhood, police said.

She was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver, 40-year-old Calixto Dilinila, was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and failing to yield to a pedestrian, according to police.

More details about the collision were not immediately available from police this morning.
