SFPD Seeking Suspects in Haight Shooting

A 42-year-old man was shot in the leg after arguing with a man and woman near San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park on Wednesday evening, police said today.

The shooting was reported at 6:45 p.m. at Stanyan Street near Kezar Drive on the east side of the park, according to police.

The victim had been arguing with the man and woman, both believed to be in their 30s, when the man pulled out a gun and shot the victim once in his lower leg, police said.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, police said.

The suspects ran away on southbound Stanyan Street and were seen with a white vehicle. The pair has not been caught as of this morning, according to police.
