Richmond District Construction Worker Brawl Culminates In Double Stabbing

Two men were stabbed during an argument that turned violent at a construction site in San Francisco’s Richmond District on Wednesday afternoon, police said today.

The men, ages 24 and 34, were in a fight with a co-worker, age 32, around 5:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Fifth Avenue while working, police said.

The suspect punched the 34-year-old man in the face and then slashed him in the torso with a knife.

The other man tried to stop the fight and got stabbed in the leg with the same knife during the attack, police said.

The younger victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

The man cut in the torso did not need to be taken to a hospital, police said.

The suspect fled before police arrived and has not been caught as of this morning, according to police.
