A woman pulled from under a train at San Francisco’s Montgomery BART station Monday afternoon had apparently jumped in front of the train as it pulled into the station, a BART police lieutenant said today.
Investigators used witness statements and video to reach the conclusion that the woman jumped from the platform shortly before 5 p.m., BART police Lt. Paul Kwon said.

The woman was taken to San Francisco General Hospital but Kwon did not know the extent of her injuries.
Reports of the emergency came in at 4:49 p.m., just before the height of the evening commute.
Montgomery Station was closed for about an hour and commuters faced long delays for trains moving in both directions, BART officials said.
