Woman Injured After Witnesses Say She Intentionally Walked Into Taxi (?)

A woman was injured when she was involved in a collision with a taxi in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood this morning.

The collision occurred shortly after 10 a.m. in a northbound lane on Sixth Street between Mission and Market streets.

The taxi driver, whose name was not immediately available, said the woman had walked into the side of his Yellow Cab as he was driving.

Witnesses at the scene said it appeared that the woman had walked toward the cab intentionally.

As of 10:30 a.m., the woman, who was bleeding from the mouth, was sitting in the back of an ambulance but had not yet been taken to a hospital.

One lane of northbound Sixth Street was closed, and the cab was stopped in the right northbound lane. There was no visible damage to the vehicle.
