10:57 AM: Three people suffered from smoke inhalation at a one-alarm fire in San Francisco’s Silver Terrace neighborhood early this morning, a fire department spokeswoman said.
Firefighters were dispatched around 3:15 a.m. to a fire at a single-story residential building in the first block of Apollo Street, fire spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said.
One person jumped out of a window to escape the blaze, Talmadge said.
The fire was under control at 3:57 a.m., she said.
Three people were transported to a hospital for smoke inhalation, including one whose injuries were considered life-threatening, Talmadge said.
Ten people who were displaced by the fire found temporary housing with family members and did not require assistance from the American Red Cross, Talmadge said.
The fire caused an estimated $75,000 to $80,000 in structural damage and $15,000 to the building’s contents, according to Talmadge.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, she said.

Crews responded to a report of a fire in the first block of Apollo Street at about 3:15 a.m., a dispatcher said.
Three people were able to exit the home, but were transported to a hospital to be treated for minor injuries, the dispatcher said.
A total of 10 people were displaced, he said.
The fire was deemed under control at 3:57 a.m., according to the dispatcher.
