Man Critically Injured In Crash Near 280

A 20-year-old man was critically injured when his vehicle spun out and overturned near Interstate Highway 280 in San Francisco on Sunday afternoon, police said today.

The driver was speeding north on San Jose Avenue near I-280 at about 12:15 p.m. when the driver lost control and the car spun out and flipped onto its roof, according to police.

The man suffered head wounds that were considered life-threatening, and was taken to a hospital, police said.

No other information about the crash was immediately available this morning.
