BART trains are back on schedule after a 15-minute delay prompted by maintenance and brief police activity at the Montgomery station in San Francisco, BART personnel said.

Officers responded to a report of a battery on a train at the Montgomery BART station around 6:35 a.m., according to BART police Lt. Aaron Ledford.

The fight involved two acquaintances and resulted in one arrest for being drunk in public, Ledford said.

Officers held the train for about 15 minutes, which added to delays in the Pittsburg/Bay Point and Dublin/Pleasanton directions caused by track maintenance, according to BART personnel
