Critical Injuries After Bayview Shooting

A man was critically injured in a drive-by shooting in San Francisco’s Bayview District on Tuesday night, police said today.

The shooting was reported at about 9:35 p.m. near Revere Avenue and Crisp Road.

The 53-year-old victim was standing on the street when a black vehicle drove by and someone inside the car opened fire, police said.

The victim was hit in the torso by the gunfire. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are considered life-threatening, according to police.

The vehicle drove off after the shooting and no arrests had been made as of this morning.
