9:32 AM: A minor accident involving a school bus sent a San Francisco Unified School District student to the hospital for evaluation this morning, a district spokeswoman said.

The California Highway Patrol received word of an accident at Seventh Avenue and Lincoln Way shortly before 8:30 a.m.

CHP Officer Kevin Kroncke said initial reports indicated that four vehicles were involved in the crash and that several people had suffered minor injuries.

School district spokeswoman Gentle Blythe said the bus was on its way to Lowell High School when the crash happened and that there were four students on board. She said the bus driver had described the accident as a fender-bender.

One student was transported to a hospital to be evaluated but did not appear to be seriously injured, Blythe said.

9:16 AM: Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Seventh Avenue and Lincoln Way in San Francisco this morning in response to reports of a crash involving a school bus, California Highway Patrol Officer Kevin Kroncke said.

The CHP received word of the crash at 8:27 a.m. Kroncke said four vehicles were involved.

Kroncke had few details but said there were three students on the bus. The crash caused minor injuries but he did not know whether of the students had been hurt.
