Inner Sunset Bank Robbed Monday Afternoon

Police are seeking a man who robbed a bank in San Francisco’s Inner Sunset neighborhood on Monday afternoon.

The robbery was reported at about 12:45 p.m. in the 700 block of Irving Street, which is between 8th and 9th avenues.

The suspect, described as a man in his 40s, walked up to a teller at the bank, indicated that he had a gun and demanded money, according to police.

The teller refused, but the man reached over and grabbed cash, then fled. He had not been found as of this morning, police said.

No weapon was seen during the robbery and no one was injured, police said.
