Weekend Traffic And Transit Disruptions: Glen Park Fest, How Weird Faire

Critical Mass
On Friday at 6 p.m., the Critical Mass bicycle ride will begin at Justin Herman Plaza.

There will be heavy traffic in the area. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time.

Phelan Loop Construction
From 1 a.m., Saturday until 4:30 a.m., Monday, the SFMTA will conduct construction work at the Phelan Loop.

The following Muni routes will be affected:
· 8X Bayshore Express
· 49 Mission-Van Ness

Glen Park Festival
On Sunday the 15th annual Glen Park Festival will be held on Diamond Street from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The following street closures will be required from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.:
· Diamond Street between Bosworth and Chenery streets
· Wilder Street between Diamond and Carrie streets
· Kern Street between Brompton Avenue and Diamond Street

The following Muni routes will be affected:
· 36 Teresita
· 52 Excelsior

How Weird Street Faire
On Sunday the annual How Weird Street Faire will be held from noon to 8 p.m. on Howard Street. Heavy pedestrian traffic is expected in the area. Event participants are encouraged to take public transportation to the event.

The following street closures will be required from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.:
· Howard Street between 1st and New Montgomery streets
· 2nd Street between Mission and Folsom streets
· Natoma between 1st and New Montgomery streets
· Minna between 1st and New Montgomery streets

The following Muni routes will be affected:
· 10 Townsend
· 12 Folsom Pacific
