Critical Mass
On Friday at 6 p.m., the Critical Mass bicycle ride will begin at Justin Herman Plaza.
There will be heavy traffic in the area. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time.
Asthma Walk
On Saturday, Asthma Walk from Gilman Park to Candlestick Park will take place between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Traffic around the event venue may be heavy, motorists should allow extra travel time. SF Police Department personnel will be on site to monitor traffic in the event area.
Muni route 29 Sunset will be affected.
Union Street Spring Celebration
On Sunday the 22nd Union Street Spring Celebration will take place on Union Street between Gough and Fillmore streets from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
At 2 p.m. the parade will begin on Green Street, then proceed north on Gough Street, west on Union Street, north on Fillmore Street and east onto Filbert Street where the parade will disband.
The following street closures will be required from 2 a.m. to midnight.
· Union Street between Gough and Fillmore streets
· Octavia Street between Filbert and Green streets
· Laguna Street between Filbert and Green streets
· Webster Street between Filbert and Green streets
· Buchanan Street from Filbert and Green streets
· Intersections: Octavia, Laguna, Buchanan and Webster street at Union Street
The following Muni routes will be affected:
· 22 Fillmore
· 30 Stockton
· 45 Union-Stockton
Easter Sunrise on Mount Davidson
On Sunday, the Annual Easter Sunrise Service will be held on the top of Mount Davidson at approximately 7 a.m. The SFMTA will provide Muni service on the 36 Teresita beginning at 5 a.m. until the start of the service from Forest Hill Station to Myra Way and Dalewood Way.
San Francisco Giants Baseball Game
San Francisco—With the 2013 Major League Baseball season almost underway, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) encourages baseball fans to take Muni, BART, Caltrain, ferry, taxis, walk or bike to this season’s San Francisco Giants home games. Friday, March 29, the Giants will play the Oakland A’s at 7:15 p.m.
The Giants will play 81 regular season home games this year at AT&T Park, Friday, April 5 through Sunday, September 29. The regular season Opening Day is Friday, April 5.
Transit
The following Muni service is available to and from all home games:
• T Third
• N Judah
• Metro Shuttles
• 10 Townsend (Service until 7:40 p.m., weekdays and 7:45 p.m., weekends)
• 30 Stockton
• 45 Union
• 47 Van Ness
Baseball fans transferring from BART may purchase pre-paid fare (one way or round trip) at the Embarcadero Station three hours prior to the start time of the game. One-way transfers can be purchased at the AT&T Park ticket windows two hours prior to the game start time and until 30 minutes after the game ends.
The SFMTA will schedule additional Metro “baseball shuttles” to supplement the existing N Judah and T Third service to the ballpark.
The additional service begins two hours prior to the game and continues until approximately 20 minutes after the start of the game. The SFMTA will deploy Parking Control Officers (PCOs) to assist fans getting to and from the game. Prior to each game, these PCOs are deployed to key locations around the ballpark to facilitate pedestrians, transit vehicles and other traffic.
Traffic
Weekday games often end near the afternoon commute. Motorists should, therefore, expect heavy traffic on freeways and streets near AT&T Park and on all approaches to the Bay Bridge on those days. The San Francisco Giants will play 12 weekday games at AT&T Park this season. The SFMTA advises motorists of the increased congestion in San Francisco and advises commuters to use transit and avoid using the Bay Bridge on these dates.

Taxi Zones
The SFMTA has three taxi zones serving AT&T Park in effect on event days:
• 3rd Street (west side) just north of King Street
• 2nd Street (west side) between Brannan and Townsend streets (postevent only)
• 2nd Street (west side) between Townsend and King streets (event days only—not available post-event)
Bicycles
The San Francisco Bicycle Coalition operates a secure bike parking facility at AT&T Park. Bicycle parking is located on the south side of the ballpark, along the Port Walk, and opens two hours before every game and closes 30 minutes after each game.
Meter Parking
SFMTA’s new policy to improve parking availability and reduce congestion by preventing circling for on-street parking during events began on Monday, March 4.
Parking meters within walking distance from AT&T Park are in operation until 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m., Sundays. The special event rate of $5 or $7 per hour applies when events take place at AT&T Park.
