A woman was robbed as she arrived home in San Francisco’s Visitacion Valley neighborhood early Saturday morning, police said.

The robbery was reported at about 1 a.m. in the 400 block of Campbell Avenue.

The victim had just parked her car in her driveway and gotten out of the vehicle when she noticed someone standing across the street wearing a mask, police said.

She became afraid and started to walk back to her car, but the suspect ran up behind her and shoved her to the ground, then ripped her purse from her shoulder and fled, police said.

The robber had not been found as of Sunday night. Anyone with information about the case is encouraged to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411.
