sfpd_crimescene.jpgA man was shot in the chest after getting into an argument with another man in San Francisco’s Bayview District late Friday night, police said today.

The shooting was reported at 11:06 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Kirkwood Avenue and Mendell Street.

The 21-year-old victim was shot once and was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injury, which is not considered life-threatening, according to police.

The suspect, a man in his 20s, fled and has not been found.
