A man who was fatally shot early Sunday morning has been identified by the medical examiner’s office as 23-year-old Ernesto Gonzalez Acosta.

No city of residence was immediately available for Gonzalez Acosta, who was found shot around 2 a.m. Sunday near Hayes and Webster streets, police said.

He was taken to a hospital where he later died.

No arrests had been made and no suspect information was available as of this morning, police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said.
