shooting_nighttime.jpgA man was injured in a drive-by shooting in San Francisco’s Sunnydale neighborhood early Sunday morning, police said today.

The shooting was reported at 3:28 a.m. in the 1800 block of Sunnydale Avenue.

The 23-year-old victim was standing outside of his home when a gray four-door vehicle drove by and someone inside opened fire, according to police.

The victim was shot in the leg and was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, police said.

The shooter fled in the car, and no arrests had been made as of this morning, police said.
