The shooting was reported at 10:27 p.m. in the 300 block of Turk Street, which is near Leavenworth.

The 39-year-old victim was walking in the area when he was shot. He was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, according to police.

Scant details were available this morning about the shooter because the victim did not cooperate, police said.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or to send a text message to TIP411 with “SFPD” in the message.
