monopoly_money.jpgPolice are trying to identify a man who robbed a bank in San Francisco’s Richmond District on Wednesday morning.

The robbery was reported at 10:58 a.m. in the 800 block of Clement Street, which is near 9th Avenue, where a suspect walked into the bank and handed a female teller a note demanding money, police said.

The note stated that the suspect was armed, but a gun was never seen. The victim handed over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect, who then fled, heading east on Clement Street, according to police.

The suspect, described only as a man in his late 30s or early 40s, had not been found as of this morning, police said.

No one was injured in the robbery.
