police-light-bar1.jpgA 13-year-old girl visiting San Francisco with her family was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries when she was hit by a car Friday night, police and fire officials said.

The collision was reported shortly after 8 p.m. on Pine Street just west of Stockton Street.

The girl was with her family when she was struck by a white Subaru. She was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with life-threatening injuries, San Francisco police Officer Carlos Manfredi said.
