San Francisco police are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects in a robbery in the city’s Western Addition neighborhood in July that was caught on surveillance video.

The robbery was reported on July 5 near Laguna and Cleary streets.

Two suspects pistol-whipped and robbed a victim at gunpoint before fleeing in a newer-model silver Dodge Charger with a white rag behind the rear headrest, according to police.

One suspect is described as a black male who was wearing a black jacket, a white shirt, blue jeans and white shoes, and was armed with a gun. The second suspect, also a black male, was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, jeans and dark shoes, police said.

A third suspect was driving the Dodge and also remains at large.

The video is being made available through the Police Department’s new crime-fighting tool called “The Line-Up,” in which the public is encouraged to help solve cold case files by watching video footage of crimes online.

Anyone with information related to these suspects is urged to contact SFPD Inspector Doherty at 415-614-3466.
