policeblotter_sfa.jpgSan Francisco police took one suspect in custody and are searching for four more that fled from a traffic stop this evening, police said.

Officers attempted to stop a car near the corner of Scott and Turk Streets at about 5:15 p.m. when the car’s five occupants all ran in different directions, Officer Carlos Manfredi said.

One of the suspects was apprehended after a brief foot pursuit but four remain outstanding. Police are continuing to look for them tonight.

Police have not yet determined why the five suspects ran from the vehicle.
