shooting_nighttime.jpgA man was injured in a shooting in San Francisco’s Bayview District on Sunday evening, police said today.

Officers received a ShotSpotter notification of a possible shooting at about 7:35 p.m. Sunday in the 1300 block of Carroll Avenue.

They responded and found the 31-year-old victim suffering from gunshot wounds to his lower body and arm, according to police.

The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, police said.

No arrests had been made in connection with the shooting as of this morning.
