police-light-bar1.jpgThe Cesar Chavez Street off-ramp from southbound Interstate Highway 101 in San Francisco has reopened this morning after a big rig smashed seven sand-filled traffic barrels across the roadway before fleeing the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The big rig struck the large attenuator barrels, spilling sand across the off-ramp around 3 a.m. The big rig remains at large, according to the CHP.
