policeblotter_sfa.jpgA man was injured in a shooting in San Francisco’s Bayview District on Friday evening, police said today.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 1400 block of Newcomb Avenue at 7:39 p.m. Friday.

A witness reported seeing two people put a shooting victim into a car, police said. The victim later turned up at San Francisco General Hospital.

The 28-year-old victim suffered three gunshot wounds but is expected to survive, according to police.

No arrests had been made and no suspect information was available in connection with the shooting as of this morning, police said.
