A man was shot in the arm during a robbery in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood early Friday morning, a police spokesman said.
The shooting was reported around 2:45 a.m. near the intersection of Leavenworth and Turk streets.
The 32-year-old victim was approached by two male suspects who took his property, including an undisclosed amount of cash, police spokesman Officer Gordon Shyy said.
One of the suspects then shot the victim in the arm, and the suspects fled on foot, Shyy said.
The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening, according to Shyy.
He said there was not immediately any description available of the suspects, who remain outstanding as of this afternoon.
