policeblotter_sfa.jpgA woman had her purse snatched while walking in San Francisco’s Richmond District early this morning, police said.

The robbery was reported at 12:29 a.m. near 15th Avenue and Cabrillo Street.

The 23-year-old victim was walking with another woman when two suspects approached and grabbed her purse, according to police.

The suspects tried to grab the other woman’s purse but were unable to, and they then ran to a silver four-door sedan and fled, police said.

Neither woman was injured in the robbery, and the suspects, described as men between 18 and 25 years old, had not been found as of mid-morning today.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411.
