policeblotter_sfa.jpgAn 18-year-old man was watching fireworks in San Francisco’s Mission District early this morning when he realized he had been shot in the back, police said.

The shooting was reported around 12:55 a.m. near 14th and Shotwell streets.

The victim was driven by a friend to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, according to police.

No arrests had been made in the case as of this morning, police said.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411.
