sfpd_squad.jpgA man was shot in the leg in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood early this morning, police said.

The shooting was reported around 3:40 a.m. in the 500 block of O’Farrell Street, which is near Jones Street.

The 42-year-old victim was standing on a street corner when a vehicle approached and a man inside the car fired four shots at him, hitting him in the leg, according to police.

The suspect, a man believed to be in his 30s, fled in the gray four-door Toyota Camry, and had not been found as of this morning, police said.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, according to police.
