shooting_nighttime.jpg6/18 12:05 PM: A woman was shot in the arm in San Francisco’s Visitacion Valley neighborhood early Sunday morning, police said.

The shooting was reported at 3:04 a.m. at Visitacion Avenue and Schwerin Street.

The 28-year-old victim was sitting in her car when a silver Acura drove up and someone inside fired several shots toward her, according to police.

The victim was hit in the arm, and was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for her injuries, which were not life-threatening, police said.

The shooter fled in the Acura and had not been found as of this morning. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411.

6/17 6:31 AM: A woman is in stable condition after being shot in San Francisco’s Visitacion Valley neighborhood Sunday morning, police said.

The shooting at Visitacion Avenue and Schwerin Street was reported at 3:04 a.m., according to police.

The woman hit by the gunfire was taken to a hospital in stable condition, police said.
No suspect information was available this morning.
