shooting_nighttime.jpgTwo suspects robbed a business in San Francisco’s Richmond District at gunpoint on Thursday night, police said.

The robbery was reported at about 9:15 p.m. at a business in the 5200 block of Geary Boulevard, which is near 17th Avenue.

The suspects, described as men in their early to mid 20s, walked up to the register and one of them jumped over the counter and grabbed an employee, according to police.

The second suspect then pulled out a gun and demanded money from the register and the employee complied, handing over an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The suspects then fled from the business and had not been found as of this morning.

Anyone with information about the robbery is encouraged to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411.
