shooting_nighttime.jpgA woman escaped injury in a shooting that shattered the rear windshield of her car in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill neighborhood on Sunday afternoon, police said.

The shooting was reported around 4 p.m. near the intersection of 23rd and Arkansas streets.

The woman said she was inside her parked car when another vehicle pulled up behind her. She then heard gunfire and saw a suspect running to a car across the street while firing a gun at the car behind hers, according to police.

The woman was not struck by the gunfire, which shattered the rear windshield. No other victims of the shooting were found and the suspect had not been located either as of this afternoon, police said.
