A man was robbed and stabbed with a sharp object in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood on Wednesday evening, police said.
The attack occurred around 6:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Eddy Street, which is near Mason, after three suspects approached the 44-year-old victim and demanded money, according to police.
The victim complied, but the suspects began fighting with him. One pulled out some sort of sharp object, and after the suspects ran away the victim realized he had been cut, police said.
He walked to Saint Francis Memorial Hospital to be treated for his injuries–cuts to his neck and chest that are not considered life-threatening, according to police.
The suspects, three men believed to be in their 20s, had not been found as of this morning.
