A bank was robbed in downtown San Francisco on Monday–the third such robbery in the same block this month, according to police.
Monday’s robbery was reported around 4 p.m. at the First National Bank of Northern California, located at 65 Post St.
Police said a man in his 40s walked up to a bank teller and handed her an envelope with a note, then told her to give him money.
The teller complied, handing over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect, who then fled on foot.
The heist comes after a neighboring Citibank at 99 Post St. was robbed twice earlier this month.
On April 9, a man in his 20s or 30s entered the bank, approached a teller and demanded cash, police said.
An earlier robbery was also reported there on April 3.
No weapon was seen during any of the three robberies, and no one was injured, according to police.
A police spokesman was not immediately available to say whether investigators believe the robberies are related.
