Frederick Ortanez, 30, and Donnie Rodriguez, 29, were taken into custody after officers responded around 1:45 a.m. to a report of a large fight and possible shooting in the 600 block of Polk Street, police spokesman Officer Gordon Shyy said.

No one was hit by the gunfire.
