sffd_officials.jpgA fire engine was involved in a crash in San Francisco’s Outer Mission neighborhood on Monday morning, police and fire officials said today.

The crash, which involved the engine and another vehicle, was reported at 11:36 a.m. at Mission and Allison streets, according to police.

No one in the fire engine was injured, but two people from the other vehicle were taken to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening, fire department spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
