sfpd_arrestcuffs.jpgA 45-year-old man has been arrested and charged for fatally stabbing another man in San Francisco’s Bayview District last week, police and prosecutors said today.

Howard Frazier was arrested on Monday in connection with the killing of Luther Robinson, 54, who was found lying on the street at Third Street and Palou Avenue shortly before 1 p.m. on Feb. 15, police spokesman Sgt. Daryl Fong said.

Robinson was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Frazier was identified as the suspect in the case and was arrested Monday, Fong said.

He was charged today with first-degree murder and is expected to be arraigned on Thursday afternoon, district attorney’s office spokesman Omid Talai said.

Frazier has several prior strikes on his criminal record, Talai said.
