earthquake.jpgA 3.75-magnitude earthquake shook an area in Solano County this evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake, which was initially noted as a 3.7 magnitude before being downgraded by the USGS to a 3.5, struck at 6:09 PM with a depth of 5.8 miles.

The epicenter was originally said to be located two miles south of Vallejo and about two miles northwest of Crockett in Contra Costa County, making it 23 miles north-northeast of SF City Hall, the USGS says.
