A trackside problem on the BART system in San Francisco has been repaired this morning, a spokesman said, though trains are still running at least 10 minutes behind schedule.
The trackside mechanical problem occurred between the Embarcadero and Montgomery stations beginning at about 5:45 a.m., BART spokesman Linton Johnson said.
Trains were single-tracked through the area until repairs were made at about 6:30 a.m., Johnson said.
All scheduled San Francisco-bound trains were in operation as of 6:45 a.m.
