policeblotter_sfa.jpgA man suffered minor injuries in a shooting in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood on Friday night, police said.

The shooting was reported at 10:53 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Fifth and Harrison streets.

The 28-year-old victim was standing near his vehicle when he heard gunshots and saw his car had been struck, according to police. He got in his car and drove home, where he discovered he had been shot.

The man drove himself to a hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not life-threatening.

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting and no suspect information was immediately available today, according to police.
