sffd_firefighters.jpg1:24 PM: A one-alarm fire damaged a computer lab at a children’s center in San Francisco early this morning, fire officials said.

Firefighters went to the Children’s Council of San Francisco at 455 Church Street on a report of fire at 12:50 a.m., according to the fire department.

Initial reports were that the building was affiliated with nearby Mission High School, which was inaccurate, according to dispatch.

The fire, which broke out on the second floor, was under control by 1:05 a.m.
The cause remains under investigation.

1:22 AM: A one-alarm fire at Mission High School was controlled at about 1:05 a.m., San Francisco fire officials said.

The fire was first reported at about 12:50 a.m. at 455 Church Street, officials said. No further information was immediately available.
