A man was robbed of his cellphone after he used it to take a video of an assault on a woman by several suspects on San Francisco’s Market Street on Wednesday evening, police said.
The attack and robbery were reported at about 6:40 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Market and Fifth streets.
A group of at least four male suspects, ranging in age from 13 to early 20s, began attacking a 48-year-old woman, according to police.
A man nearby used his cellphone to videotape the assault, but one of the suspects came over and pushed him in the face and stole his phone, police said.
The group of suspects fled but two of them, the 13-year-old and a 20-year-old, were subsequently arrested, according to police.
However, the suspect who robbed the cellphone, described as a man in his late teens or early 20s, remains outstanding.
Neither the victim of the attack or the robbery victim suffered serious injuries, police said.
