muni_driver.jpg6:19 PM: Here’s the latest from the SFMTA:

As of 5:45 p.m., the non-Muni vehicle has been removed from the intersection of Mission and Fremont streets, providing limited access to traffic at that intersection. Overhead line crews are still on the scene.

Historic street car service on the F Market Line has resumed east of 11th Street to Fisherman’s Wharf.

The Muni electric trolley bus routes are still affected due to overhead wire damage.

Crews are expected to be working on repairs through the evening rush hour.

5:01 PM: According to the SFMTA, damage to downtown overhead wires has disrupted service on several Muni lines Friday afternoon.

At 3:18 this afternoon a non-Muni vehicle pulled the overhead wires down at 1st and Fremont, the SFMTA says. Crews are reportedly on the scene attempting to repair the damage.

· F Market
· 6 Parnassus
· 14 Mission
· 14L Mission Ltd.
· 21 Hayes
· 31 Balboa

According to the SFMTA, buses will re-routing around the intersection until further notice.

The F Market line is switching back at Market and 11th streets inbound to outbound, with shuttle buses providing service between 11th and Fisherman’s Wharf.

The 14 Mission and 14L Mission Ltd. are diverting at 3rd Street inbound and outbound.
