policeblotter_sfa.jpgA man was robbed of a laptop computer and other property after being knocked to the ground and kicked repeatedly in San Francisco’s Western Addition neighborhood early Wednesday morning, police said.

The robbery was reported at about 2 a.m. in the 1100 block of Ellis Street.

The 29-year-old victim was approached by a suspect who demanded his property. The suspect then punched the victim, knocking him to the ground, according to police.

At least three other suspects then surrounded the victim, punching and kicking him before taking his property and fleeing in a 1970s-era Cadillac, police said.

The victim, who was treated for minor injuries and released at the scene, had a backpack, laptop computer, cellphone and cash taken from him, according to police.

No arrests had been made in connection with the robbery as of today, police said.
