police-light-bar1.jpgA man was hospitalized after an argument turned physical and he was punched in the face several times in San Francisco’s Mission District on Wednesday evening, police said.

The attack was reported at about 6 p.m. near the intersection of 25th and Folsom streets.

The 40-year-old victim and another man got into an argument that escalated, and the other man punched him several times in the face before running away, according to police.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening.

The suspect remains at large, police said.
