GFI Burglary Suspect — Sunday, May 8, 2011 — 12:00am-5:00am from The Global Film Initiative on Vimeo.

Last Sunday night in SOMA, the Global Film Initiative says they got some footage they weren’t expecting when a man burglarized their offices.

GFI, which “promotes cross-cultural understanding through the medium of cinema” says their office at 149 9th Street was robbed Sunday, May 8. Bluoz notes that the crime scene is “about a block and half away from where Twitter is going next year.”

The suspect apparently got away with a few Macs before fleeing the scene.

If you have any information on the burglary at GFI or the suspect seen in the video, contact SFPD at (415) 553-1651 or email GFI at gfi-info@globalfilm.org.
