pg&e_blackout(2).jpgMore than 1,700 customers near San Francisco’s Pacific Heights neighrbohood were without power for about an hour tonight after a vehicle crashed into a power pole, a PG&E spokeswoman said.

The 1,744 customers lost power at about 6:45 p.m., but crews had it restored by about 7:50 p.m., utility spokeswoman Jana Morris said.

Two customers reported that a car had crashed into a power pole, she said.
