10:40 PM: An elderly man who was reported missing in San Francisco on Wednesday was found later that night, a police spokeswoman said today.
Jia Zhou, 91, had last been seen Wednesday and was deemed at-risk because he suffers from dementia.
He was found safe on Wednesday night near the intersection of Geary Boulevard and 30th Avenue, police Lt. Lyn Tomioka said.
6:27 AM: Police in San Francisco are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing at-risk nonagenarian who suffers from dementia and was last seen Wednesday.
Jia Zhou, 91, who police describe as a Chinese man standing 5 feet tall and weighing approximately 100 pounds, was last seen wearing a tan waist-length jacket and a tan hat.
Zhou only speaks Cantonese and uses a tan cane to get around.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen or found Zhou to contact the missing persons division at (415) 558-5508 or (415) 553-1071.
